Visit Moody College. Located at the northwest corner of the UT Austin campus at the intersection of Dean Keeton and Guadalupe Street, the Moody College of Communication welcomes current and prospective students, alumni, employers, KUT/KUTX visitors, families, and other guests.
Students following the 2018-2020 or 2020-2022 catalog must satisfy a language and culture requirement in one of the following ways: (a) Demonstrating intermediate proficiency in a single language other than English; (b) Taking two consecutive courses in one language and one approved culture course in a culture that is relevant to the language.
The Moody College of Communication allows a maximum of 6 internship credit hours to count toward your degree (only 4 hours are allowed for students under catalogs prior to 2018-2020). You must take the internship class during the same semester or summer session that you complete the internship.

No core curriculum requirement, foreign language course, or course in the Moody College of Communication may be taken on a pass/fail basis. Only 15 hours of non-Communication electives may be taken on a pass/fail basis. Students must take at least 36 upper-division credit hours. At least 60 hours for the degree must be taken in-residence.
