20. Feb. 2017 · Ibrahim Ferrer wurde am 20. Februar 1927 in einem kleinen Ort in der Nähe von Santiago de Cuba geboren. Schon als Jugendlicher versuchte er sich als Sänger, nahm tagsüber jede verfügbare Arbeit an, um abends auftreten zu können. In den 50er Jahren schloß er sich mehreren berühmten Bands an, doch seine Karriere war nicht von Erfolg gekrönt. Noch nicht.
