Little details in the production design reveal a deep understanding of the worlds its minority characters inhabit, giving it an authenticity which balances its anarchic spirit. Night Ride may only be a short film, but it has a twisty plot, opening with its heroine, Ebba, accidentally stealing a tram and driving it through Norway's dark, snowy streets.
