Peter Cushing (født 26. maj 1913, død 11. august 1994) var en engelsk skuespiller med kultiveret fremtoning, skarp profil og en stålsat vilje hvad enten i rollen som helt eller uhyre. Peter Wilton Cushing (born in Kenley, Surrey on 26 May 1913, died 11 August 1994) played the eccentric Dr. Who in two mid-1960s movies ( Dr. Who and the Daleks and Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. ) based on the Doctor Who television series.
Peter Cushing was born in 1913 and, after early roles in Hollywood, came to prominence as one of the original stars of BBC Television in the early 1950s. By the end of the decade, his lead roles in numerous Hammer Horror films had made him internationally famous, and he is still best remembered for his numerous portrayals of Baron Frankenstein and Dr. Van Helsing.
