Beyond that, I'll give James Gang credit for trying to incorporate variety into this album, but maybe they tried a little too hard at that. There's a jarring lack if identity or continuity. Joe Walsh, humorously, has himself down in the credits for instruments, vocals, and "train wreck." I'm not sure he was thinking of the same issue as me, but it seems somehow apropos.
