Gresham's is an All Steinway School, providing our musicians with world-class pianos, and in 2017, we opened a new state of the art music school with a recording studio, 140 seat auditorium and practice rooms. The Dyson Building opened at Gresham’s in September 2021.
From time to time across all three Schools, Gresham’s is able to offer a variety of activities that pupils may take part in. Farfield was the third House to be built at Gresham’s in 1911, located a small distance away from the centre of the school. It was opened in 1911 as part of a surge of renewal and expansion at Gresham’s led by George Howson and the first Housemaster, Major JC Miller. Boys were relocated there from a smaller house called Bengal Lodge.
Gresham's School is doing well academically. In 2023, its GCSE results yielded 49% 9-7 grades, its A-Levels 45% A-grades and an IB average of 35.7 points.
