In 2003, Fountains of Wayne became more popular than they ever were. Coming out with their hit single "Stacy's Mom", the band got a bigger recognition. During the summer of 2003, they released their third album, Welcome Interstate Managers. Later that year, they were Grammy-nominated for Best New Band.
