He passed away in Salt Lake City, October 4, 2011 at the age of 86 after a struggle with Alzheimer's. Calvin married Martha Isom in the Salt Lake Temple on December 30, 1947.
The duo of Clarence & Calvin teamed vocalists Clarence Carter and Calvin Scott.
