Steve Prestwich did his first gig playing drums at eleven years of age, having started taking drumming lessons from his father as a nine year old. Steve's dad was singing and playing drums in a ‘Beat’ group at the time and had played at the famous Cavern Club. Steve would go along and watch them play locally whenever he could. He knew then exactly what he wanted to do.
