Saint Peter. Saint Peter [note 1] (died AD 64–68), [1] also known as Peter the Apostle, Simon Peter, Simeon, Simon, or Cephas, [6] was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ and one of the first leaders of the early Christian Church. He appears repeatedly and prominently in all four New Testament gospels as well as the Acts of the Apostles.

St. Peter ist der 8. Grazer Stadtbezirk. Er wurde 1938 aus den ehemaligen Straßendörfern St. Peter, Neufeld, Peterstal und Petersbergen sowie dem Hauptteil von Messendorf (1233 urkundlich erwähnt) gebildet. Er besteht aus den Katastralgemeinden Graz Stadt-Messendorf und St. Peter.
