Samuel Prescott (August 19, 1751 – c. 1777) was an American physician and a Massachusetts Patriot during the American Revolutionary War. He is best known for his role in Paul Revere 's " midnight ride " to warn the townspeople of Concord, Massachusetts , of the impending British army move to capture guns and gunpowder kept there at the beginning of the American Revolution.

Samuel Prescott Bush, son of Rev. James Smith Bush and wife Harriet Eleanor Fay, was born 4 Oct 1863 in Brick Church, Orange Co NJ, and died 8 Feb 1948 at University Hospital in Columbus, Franklin Co OH of carcinoma, perforation of the colon, and myocardial fibrosis. He was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Section 56, south of the chapel. His tombstone may be viewed on a web site
