Imago mortis has few good ideas but bad executed, it is unusual to watch a giallo with a contemporary gothic setting, the school has a dark Hogwarts vibe. The film floats between Thriller and Horror genre, there are scary ghosts but they are harmless, there is a serial killer but no investigation and most of the deaths are out of camera.
