Blues Magoos. American psychedelic and garage rock band from the Bronx, New York, best known for their hit song " (We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet" which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. They began in 1966 and therefore belong to the first psychedelic wave.
The 1967 single version of “One by One” was a rerecording by The Blues Magoos that would chart as high as number seventy-one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number fifty-six on the Canadian RPM Top Tracks chart. Originally, the song came from t The Blues Magoos ‘ debut album, Psychedelic Lollipop, which was released in 1966.

About The Blues Magoos. Hailing from the Bronx, the Blues Magoos were one of the earliest American psychedelic bands, coming up in the Greenwich Village club scene of the mid-1960s. They released their first album, PSYCHEDELIC LOLLIPOP, in 1966, and it spawned their signature song, “ (We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet.”.
