William Pierce Frye was an American politician from Maine. A member of the Republican Party, Frye spent most of his political career as a legislator, serving in the Maine House of Representatives and then U.S. House of Representatives, before being elected to the U.S. Senate, where he served for 30 years before dying in office.
William Frye (October 5, 1921 – November 3, 2017) was an American producer. [1] [2] He served as the producer for the films Airport 1975 and Airport '77 of the Airport film series . Frye died in November 2017 of natural causes at his home in Palm Desert, California , at the age of 96.
