31. Aug. 2011 · Robert's brother was George Toogood Smith who was 'Aunt Mimi's' husband and together they adopted John Lennon when he was an infant. I am honoured to hold Robert's medals in my collection. Robert was born on the 29th July 1898, the second of four sons and a daughter of Frank and Alice Smith who were dairy farmers.
