27. Sept. 2009 · She is credited as Ruby Wells on her earliest records, as RCA Victor did not want her to be confused with the other Ruby Wright (2). In the mid-1950s, she became part of an all-girl trio, 'Nita, Rita & Ruby (Nita of the trio was Anita Carter of the Carter Family). Ruby later sang with her sister Carol Sue Wright as The Wright Sisters.
