All applicants are required to respond to two short answer questions that involve exploring your areas of interest and outlining your reasons for applying to Yale. Additionally, all applicants must write one 400-word essay.

  3. The application process is administered by the Yale Graduate School. Their admissions webpage has useful information about the application process and access to the online application system. The number of applications received each year exceeds the number of slots available. Approximately 500 applications are received for 5-6 slots every year.
