Carla bracht zes solo albums en, met Redding, een duet album op Stax uit tussen 1961 en 1971. In 2007 kwam er een live album op basis van een opname voor Stax in het beroemde Bohemian Caverns in Washington dat ook al in 1967 was verschenen, maar nu werd vervolmaakt met een geimproviseerde set met haar vader, Rufus Thomas.
