Tony Rice. David Anthony Rice (June 8, 1951 – December 25, 2020) was an American bluegrass guitarist. He was an influential acoustic guitar player in bluegrass, progressive bluegrass, newgrass and acoustic jazz. [1] [2] He was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2013.

They broke up in 1989, but in 2016 and 2017 got together for reunion shows.

25. Dez. 2020 · But this is one of those albums that should really be listened to in its entirety. Favorite Tracks: There are instrumental tracks, but my favorites are the ones Tony sings on. Church Street Blues, Last Thing On My Mind, One More Night, Orphan Annie, Pride of Man, and of course, The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald.
