North Hollywood wurde 1887 von der Lankershim Ranch Land and Water Company gegründet. Der Stadtteil wechselte mehrmals den Namen: am Anfang hieß er Toluca, 1896 erhielt er den Namen Lankershim, bis er 1927 seinen heutigen Namen North Hollywood bekam. North Hollywood High School, along with the Los Angeles Unified School District, has developed a Parent and Family Engagement Policy and North Hollywood has come up with a School-Parent Compact for the 2023-24 school year. Paper copies will be available in the Main office. One of the greatest aspects of high school life is being part of a club.
The group begins rehearsing two weeks before the first day of school at our “Band Camp.”. Students learn music, marching, and teamwork for two weeks to establish a positive and supportive group environment. Camp is mandatory for anyone wanting to join the team and is always sometime during the last two weeks M-F of summer break (LAUSD).
