The Bluegrass Album Band self titled Album is probably the best example of traditional bluegrass played by the absolute best players who came along in the later generations. The material is perfect, the lineup is otherworldly. There are many great albums but if you want to point someone to great traditional bluegrass and what it can be, that’s about as perfect as it gets.
