Among the trailblazers in our 214-year history are the founders of Operation Smile and of Boys Town, the first female president of an NBA franchise, New York City’s first archbishop, the first Black female neurosurgeon resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the first American-born martyr.
Mount St. Mary's University is a private institution that was founded in 1808. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,896 (fall 2022), and the campus size is 1,500 acres.
