Greg Upchurch, like most kids growing up in the 70's, was first turned onto drums by listening to bands like Kiss and Queen. In high school he joined the jazz band and received a scholarship in music to the University of Central Oklahoma.
27. Sept. 2008 · After stints with Eleven, Chris Cornell, and Puddle Of Mudd, drummer Greg Upchurch has finally found a home. When he took over the drum chair in Three Doors Down in 2005, Upchurch was originally brought in as a hired gun.
