14. Jan. 2007 · Rusty Day was creating a new band in the "80's, UNCLE ACID & THE PERMANANT DAMAGE BAND. The guitar player, Ron Sanders, was also a major coke dealer, and on June 3, 1982, because of a money dispute involving this product, armed with a fully auto machine gun, Sanders shot through the windows of Day's Longwood home, killing both Rusty and his 11 YO son, Russell.

For the previous fourteen years, he was an associate minister at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
