Nazz III is one of those albums that rather mark a contractual obligation use of leftovers. As such the album sometimes seems uneven and patched-up. Apparently Rundgren himself, the main person behind the Nazz, wasn't involved in the album's conception anymore.

Feb. 2023 · Rundgren is on record as being dissatisfied with some of Traut’s production on Nazz, but today he admits that in the mid-1960s, the role of a record producer wasn’t altogether clear and established. “When we were making our first record, the job of producer was going through an evolutionary shift,” Rundgren explains.
Nazz Nazz is the second studio album by American rock band Nazz, released in April 1969 by SGC Records. The album's recording was marked by bitter artistic disagreements and power struggles among the group, and the Nazz broke up shortly after it was completed.
