  3. It is a dynamic, creative world where our students practice, perform and create on their own, in small or large groups throughout the school. Student Council. The Student Council is the student government at ESA. The Council is elected in May and meetings are held regularly. Grade 9 representatives are elected in September.

  4. This course is an excellent introduction to the Music Theatre pathway at the Etobicoke School of the Arts. ADB 2O1 – MUSIC THEATRE II This course continues the exploration of the vocal, drama and dance aspects of music theatre. The course will build on the skills regarding vocal, dramatic and dance technique learned in AMT 1O1.

  5. Students in Instrumental Music at Etobicoke School of the Arts experience all aspects of music creation and performance. The program balances ensemble performance, solo/small ensemble performance, technical skill, musicianship, composition and the study of different styles of music. All students perform in large co-curricular ensembles.

  6. Students will crate and nurture thoughtful, independent work for the contemporary world. Along with the research, skills development and critiquing, students in this course will learn how to apply to portfolio based post-secondary programs and the will have the option of participating in ESA’s Portfolio Day. Prerequisite AWQ 3M1.

  7. ESA Drama offers students extensive training in character development, voice and movement. Through the study of theatre history and plays from a variety of cultures and genres, students investigate the world around them and work towards a greater understanding of themselves and others.
