Sandy McDonald. Alexander "Sandy" McDonald ( 5 November 1937 - 17 March 2016 [1]) was a Scottish minister of the Church of Scotland and the father of David Tennant and father-in-law of Georgia Tennant-Moffett. He played the uncredited role of the footman in The Unicorn and the Wasp. He confessed he was happy he didn't have to learn lines.
