13. Okt. 2017 · Genauer merkt man The Square durchaus an, dass er keinen so richtig roten Faden hat. Er keine fortlaufende Geschichte erzählt, sondern lieber Einzelmomente zum Thema macht. Einige davon – zum Beispiel das besagte Künstlergespräch – hätte man problemlos aus dem Film streichen können, ohne dass es jemandem aufgefallen wäre. Umso mehr, da die Laufzeit stolze zweieinhalb Stunden beträgt.
