The Last Stand is a 2013 American action thriller film directed by Kim Jee-woon (in his American directorial debut). 1. Nov. 2021 · Unser Fazit zu The Stand. Die neunteilige Miniserie kann nur teilweise überzeugen. Die nichtlineare Erzählweise der ersten Folgen kann verwirren, wenn man das Buch nicht kennt. Die Handlung wird weitgehend werkgetreu heruntergespult, wobei die emotionale Dichte der 1500 Seiten dicken Vorlage verloren geht.
