   18. Juli 2018 · Please Stand By ist zwar sehr Star-Trek-lastig mit vielen kleinen Details und Andeutungen, doch auch wer nicht im Bilde ist, wird Wendy auf ihrer Reise begleiten können. Die Wahl des Regisseurs Ben Lewin , das Star-Trek-Thema aufzugreifen, eröffnet uns während des Films eine kleine Fantasie-Welt, was uns Wendy näher bringt, ohne zu viel Mitleid zu erzeugen.

   Please Stand by is a little different, as she is the star of this film, so often she's a supporting character. It might not be a perfect movie, but I loved that it brought up questions about Mental Health, not just about the character, but about everyone's role in helping someone who is a little different operate in a world that is very hard to operate in, even at the best of times.
