SOME VOICES ist eines jener "kleinen grossen" Filme und handelt von einem schizophrenen Mann, der aus der Anstalt entlassen wird und bei seinem Bruder in dessen Restaurant einen Job annehmen darf. Die zwei sind sich nicht sonderlich nahe, jedoch wird hier die Menschlichkeit immens gross geschrieben. Nie entspricht die Beziehung irgendwelchen schwarz/weiss US-Klischees.
