Mai 2024 · Neil Sedaka (born March 13, 1939, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.) is an American singer, songwriter, composer, and pianist, one of the most prolific songwriters of his era, having written or cowritten more than 500 songs, including the hits “Calendar Girl” (1959), “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do” (1960), and “Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen” (1961).
15. Feb. 2023 · Neil married partner Leba Strassberg in 1962. The couple have a daughter named Dara and a son, Marc. Dara is also a recording artist and singer for TV and radio commercials, and sang the female part on the Sedaka duet, 'Should've Never Let You Go'. Marc is a screenwriter who has three children with his wife, Samantha. Neil and his family in 1979.
