Joseph B. Foraker was born on July 5, 1846, on a farm near the village of Rainsboro, Ohio, the son of Thomas S. Foraker and Margaret Reece. On his father’s side, Foraker was of English and Scotch-Irish descent, the forefathers of his paternal grandfather, John Fouracre, having emigrated to this country from Devonshire, England, while his paternal grandmother was of Scotch-Irish origin.

Joseph B. Foraker ( 5. heinäkuuta 1846 – 10. toukokuuta 1917) oli yhdysvaltalainen republikaanipoliitikko. [1] Foraker oli ehdolla Ohion kuvernööriksi vuonna 1883, mutta ei tullut valituksi. Hän oli uudestaan ehdolla vuonna 1885 ja toimi kuvernöörinä kaksi kaksivuotiskautta 1896–1890. Hän istui senaatissa vuosina 1897–1909.
