Christopher Cross. Christopher Cross (* 3. Mai 1951 als Christopher Charles Geppert in San Antonio, Texas) ist ein US-amerikanischer Sänger und Songschreiber, der fünf Grammys und einen Oscar gewann. 21. Juni 2021 · Ride Like The Wind Promo Video 1980 Christopher Cross. From his debut album, this excellent soft rock track tells the story of a condemned criminal on the run to Mexico. He described it as "sort of a romanticized Western where the bad guy gets away." As a mark of a truly great '80s power ballad, it also features Michael McDonald on backing vocals.
Het derde album, Every Turn of the World werd uitgebracht in 1985. Het album bracht geen top 40 hits voort en werd niet goed verkocht. Hij maakte nog vele albums in de jaren daarna, maar ook daarmee werd de massa niet bereikt. Ook bracht hij in 2002 een Greatest Hits album uit. In 2018 verscheen zijn meest recente album, Take Me As I Am.
