17. Juli 2012 · I really liked this cd. I had never heard Leona Williams before. She has a great expressive country music voice. The songs are all first rate George Jones songs. This is very much worth giving this a listen to. I've listened to all the available Leona Williams music. It is extremely worthwhile.

Leona Williams was born Leona Belle Helton on January 7, 1943, in Vienna, MO. She sang in her family band as a child and by 1958 had landed her own radio show on Jefferson City's KWOS called Leona Sings.
