Eric "Garth" Hudson CM (born August 2, 1937) is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist best known as the keyboardist and occasional saxophonist for rock group the Band, for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
This album is called Black Moon outside of Russia and Lilith within. The combination of musicians is unique - mixing Aquarium leader Boris Grebenshikov with member of the American group - The Band (Jim Weider, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko).

So sang Bono von U2 auf dem 1990er-Album Red Moon im Background und bereits 1986 waren Jim Kerr von den Simple Minds und Peter Gabriel auf der LP Reconciled zu hören. Garth Hudson , Organist und Saxofonist der Formation The Band , war auf den ersten drei Alben als Keyboarder im Einsatz.
