Christian democrats' views include traditional moral values (on marriage, abortion, prohibition of drugs, etc.), opposition to secularization, opposition to state atheism, a view of the evolutionary (as opposed to revolutionary) development of society, an emphasis on law and order, and a rejection of communism.
The Christian Democrats of America platform is “pro-life-for-ALL-life” with a focus on compassion and common sense. This is not “pro-life” in the traditional sense, but we are redefining what it means to be a life-affirming Christian who votes their values.
