Ernest Tubb and His Texas Troubadours is an album by American country singer Ernest Tubb, released in 1960.
Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music.
One of country music's most distinctive voices and legends was a man born on a ranch in a small town called Crisp, Texas that fans worldwide came to know as the Texas Troubadour, Ernest Tubb. You may not find Crisp on any map, as a quote attributed to Ernest might attest to "it's hardly a wide place in the road."
