Ernest Platt Buffett (February 3, 1877 – September 22, 1946) was an American businessman and grocer. He was the father of U.S. Congressman Howard Buffett and grandfather of famed American businessman and investor Warren Buffett.

His grandfather, Ernest P. Buffett (1877–1946) was president of the Omaha Grocers' Association. Buffett's older sister, Doris Buffett (1928–2020), was a prominent philanthropist, as are all three of his children. His grandson, Howard Warren Buffett is an academic as well as a philanthropist.
