  4. The Grand Wazoo plays out in a pretty excellent manner. In particular Aynsley Dunbar's continues to make the case that he was perhaps Zappa's best drummer, laying down a marvelously roaming drum beat. If I could listen to simply the drum track alone, I'd still probably dig it.

  6. Dunbar was later the drummer for Frank Zappa, playing on the solo albums Apostrophe (') and Waka/Jawaka, and the Mothers' albums The Grand Wazoo, Fillmore East – June 1971, and Just Another Band from L.A., as well as the film 200 Motels.

  7. The Grand Wazoo, the longest song on the album, is a funky jam with great horn breaks intersperced to spice things up. Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus is a delightfully pompous number, and Eat That Question boasts some of George Duke and Aynsley Dunbar's best performances anywhere.
