Lev Borisovich Helfand (Russian: Лев Борисович Гельфанд; 10 December 1900 – 22 March 1957), also known as Leon Moore, was a Soviet chargé d'affaires to Italy in the end of 1939. Born in Poltava, Ukraine, he was in Italy during the 1930s, coinciding with the time that the National Fascist Party was in power.

She married Soviet diplomat Lev Borisovich Helfand in Paris in 1926. They had a daughter, Irene, born in Paris in 1928. In 1940, she and her husband defected from his posting in Italy to the United States, fearing Stalin's purges if he were to return to Moscow. They adopted the surname Moore.

The farm consists almost entirely of excellent, tillable land, the majority of which is leased.
