Samuel Washington (November 16, 1734 – September 26, 1781) was an American planter, politician and military officer best known for being the younger brother of the first president of the United States, George Washington.

Samuel Washington (1734-1781) was a brother of George Washington and a pioneer settler in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. He built Harewood, a limestone mansion near Charles Town, but was a financial burden to his famous brother.
