The core members were vocalist Carla Torgerson and vocalist and songwriter Chris Eckman. Although the rest of the lineup changed occasionally, for most of the time the other members were Michael Wells, Glenn Slater and Terri Moeller.
The same crew that made Acetylene and most of the other Walkabouts albums, made this one: Carla Torgerson, Terri Moeller, Michael Wells, Glenn Slater and myself. Paul Austin formerly of Willard Grant Conspiracy and Transmissionary Six joined us, providing new angles and possibilities.
The Transmissionary Six is actually the songwriting team of Terri Moeller Pearson and Paul Austin, the former a longtime drummer of The Walkabouts, the latter a founding member of the Willard Grant Conspiracy and later a guitarist for The Walkabouts.
The Transmissionary Six (gelegentlich auch nur T6 genannt) waren ein Musik-Projekt aus Seattle, Washington. Besonderes Merkmal ist der fragile Gesang von Terri Moeller. Ihr Mann Paul Austin spielte verschiedene Gitarren, nach Bedarf wurden beide von Gastmusikern unterstützt.
