Mat Brooke. Mathew Etter Brooke [1] is an American musician, best known as the lead singer of American rock band Grand Archives and a former member of the bands Band of Horses and Carissa's Wierd . Early life [ edit] In the mid 1990s, Brooke worked selling pizza in Tucson, Arizona with future bandmates Ben Bridwell and Jenn Champion.
Nach seinem Abschied von Band of Horses im Jahr 2006 gründete Mat Brooke zusammen mit Jeff Montano und Curtis Hall die Band Archives. Ron Lewis schloss sich im Laufe des Jahres ebenso der Gruppe an wie Thomas Wright, der seit Anfang 2007 zur Band gehört. Im März 2007 veröffentlichten sie erstmals zwei Lieder auf ihrer Myspace -Seite.
Band of Horses ist eine US-amerikanische Indie-Rock- und Dream-Pop-Band. Sie wurde 2004 in Seattle von Ben Bridwell, Mat Brooke, Creighton Barrett und Rob Hampton gegründet, das fünfte Bandmitglied Joe Arnone stieß 2006 zu der Gruppe. Sie stehen beim Plattenlabel Sub Pop unter Vertrag.
