Şehzade Mahmud (* um 1587 in Manisa; † 7. Juni 1603 in Istanbul) war ein osmanischer Prinz („ Şehzade “) und Sohn von Sultan Mehmed III. Er war der Enkel von Sultan Murad III. und Safiye Sultan, der Halbbruder von Ahmed I. und Bruder von Mustafa I.
Şehzade Mahmud (Ottoman Turkish: شہزادہ محمود; c. 1587 – 7 June 1603) was an Ottoman prince, the son of sultan Mehmed III and Halime Sultan. He was the grandson of sultan Murad III and Safiye Sultan, the half-brother of the future sultan Ahmed I and the brother of sultan Mustafa I.

Savaşçı bir karaktere sahip olan Şehzade Mahmud oldukça yetenekli bir şehzadeydi. Fakat onun devlet için düşündüğü fikirleri babası ile paylaşması ve validesi Halime Sultan III. Mehmet'in annesi olan Safiye Sultan ile giriştiği saltanat mücadelesinin neticesinde babası tarafından boğdurulmuştur.
Mehmed died on 22 December 1603 at the age of 37. According to one source, the cause of his death was the distress caused by the death of his son, Şehzade Mahmud. According to another source, he died either of a plague or a stroke. He was buried in Hagia Sophia Mosque. He was succeeded by his 13 year old son Ahmed I as the new sultan.
