9. Jan. 2024 · I have actually recorded more than 8 albums since January 2020. It’s fairly absurd, but that’s the situation. The first four, KISS OF THE DIAMONDBACK, THE TIGHTENING OF THE SCREWS, CAVEMAN and I CHALLENGE THE BEAST have been released, and now we come to MELT INTO YOU.
Gurf Morlix ist ein US-amerikanischer Multiinstrumentalist, Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent, der seit vielen Jahren in Austin, Texas lebt. Er arbeitete mit vielen bekannten Künstlern aus den Bereichen Americana und Alternative Country zusammen, veröffentlichte aber auch etliche eigene Werke.
9. Jan. 2024 · Gurf Morlix gets a jump on the New Year with MELT INTO YOU, his latest collection of handcrafted songs. The album contains tunes that look at the quirky side of love (Switchblade Smile, Spare Change, Melt Into You) as well as the melancholy and downright sad (Beautiful Sad Face, Nothin’ Burns Like the Cold, In the Name of Love.)
On his second solo outing, guitarist, songwriter, and producer extraordinaire Gurf Morlix (yeah, he was Lucinda Williams’ guitar player when she was still writing songs that still meant something) throws a small curveball to those who loved his debut, Toad of Titicaca.
