Gary Husband was recruited by John McLaughlin in April 2005 to play keyboards in a formation called John McLaughlin Quartet for a concert in Réunion Island. Soon after, he performed keyboards and drums on McLaughlin's Industrial Zen album.

Gary Moore’s blistering guitar on the Evans tribute, ‘Gil’, was recorded in just one pass, as was Ray Warleigh’s soaring flute on the Celtic ‘Achill Island’. ‘Gil’ also demonstrates the brilliance of Gary Husband’s drumming, while ‘Blue’ provides the perfect colour wash for Frank Ricotti’s vibraphone.
3. Mai 2020 · Husband met the likes of Bruce (the legendary bassist from Cream) and Holdsworth (who had already played in legendary prog/fusion bands like U.K. and Soft Machine) in the late 70’s, laying the foundation for a lifetime of musical collaborations.
2. Feb. 2024 · Gary Husband has long cemented his reputation as one of fusion's premier drummers--hell, even Billy Cobham thought two was better than one and hired him as a second drummer. Husband's flexibility has seen him drum in the NDR Big Band, with jazz-funk outfit Level 42, and in a trio format with guitarist Robin Trower and bassist Jack Bruce.
