Abigail II: The Revenge is the tenth studio album by Danish heavy metal band King Diamond, released on 29 January 2002, and is plotwise a successor to the 1987 album Abigail. Abigail II: The Revenge is the first album to feature guitarist Mike Wead , drummer Matt Thompson, and the first to feature bassist Hal Patino since The Eye .

Schauerlich düster läutet Abigail II zum Headbanger-Feste ein und lehrt selbst dem einen oder anderen Black Metal Anhänger das Fürchten, (zumindest in Sachen Gänsehaut). Auf hohen musikalischen Niveau ertönen hier böse Arien, alles über allem schwebt die Stimme des Diamanten-Königs, welche die Hörerschaft noch in immer in zwei Lager ...

28.01.2002 | 23:15. Lange hat es gedauert, sehr lange sogar, doch nun ist es endlich soweit: Viele Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung von "Abigail" präsentiert uns nun KING DIAMOND mit "Abigail II: The Revenge" doch noch die langersehnte Fortsetzung.

Abigail II:The Revenge picks up where the first Abigail left off. Now 18 years later the Abigail born on the first cd is back at the mansion to pay Jonathan a visit. Though many have dissed this album it is a more then worthy successor to it's namesake and is the fourth best King Daimond album.
