This study explores the positive role of young people in sustaining peace and proposes recommendations for the peace and security community to work with them. It challenges stereotypes and myths about youth, and documents their experiences of exclusion and agency across six core areas.
The Study explores how young people contribute to peace processes and conflict resolution, and recommends effective responses at local, national, regional and international levels. It is based on a participatory research process with 4,230 young people in 27 countries.
