Patrick Vasquez-Vegas (born March 17, 1941) is a Native American musician of Yaqui/Shoshone descent, vocalist, writer, and producer of Redbone, known for their hit singles "Come and Get Your Love", "The Witch Queen of New Orleans", "Maggie", and "We Were All Wounded at Wounded Knee".

Danach galten Redbone als nicht mehr existent. Es soll aber immer wieder Formationen unter dem Namen gegeben haben, denen aber keines der ursprünglic.
Wenig später trennten sich auch die verbliebenen Ur-Mitglieder Pat Vegas und Tony Bellamy. Pat Vegas tourte später gelegentlich mit einer neu zusammengestellten Gruppe unter dem Namen Redbone, zu der ab 2003 Mark Guerrero gehörte.

Redbone is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1969 by brothers Pat and Lolly Vegas. All members during their commercial peak and success were of Mexican American and Native American heritage, which was heavily reflected in their songs, stage costumes, and album art.
Candido Albelando "Lolly" Vasquez-Vegas (born October 2, 1939 – March 4, 2010) was a Mexican American musician of Indigenous descent. He played in numerous ensembles with his brother, Pat, including Pat & Lolly Vegas, The Avantis and Redbone. The brothers have Yaqui, Shoshone and Mexican heritage.
Redbone, formed by brothers pat & Lolly Vegas, began in the 1960s. Noticed by Jimi Hendrix the brother’s were encouraged to embrace their roots and named the band Redbone. In 1973 Redbone released their hit “Come and Get Your Love” on their fifth album Wovoka .
